Speaking to the media on Friday, Raje said:
Addressing a rally in Alwar on Thursday, Yadav had body-shamed Raje saying, "Vasundhara ko aaram do, bahut thak gayi hain, bahut moti ho gayi hain, pehle patli thi. Humare Madhya Pradesh ki beti hai. (Give Vasundhara some rest, she is very tired, she has become very fat, she used to be thin earlier. She is the daughter of Madhya Pradesh)."
The people of Rajasthan are voting in the assembly election on Friday.
Yadav, meanwhile, said that he did not regret the remarks and had said it in jest. He also claimed that he had body-shamed Raje when he met her in person as well.
This is not the first time Yadav has made misogynist and derogatory remarks about women and their bodies.
Last year, in January, Yadav had said "Beti ki izzat se vote ki izzat badi hai (The honour of a vote is more important than the honour of a woman). If a daughter's honour is compromised, it only affects the village or community but if the vote's honour is compromised, it impacts the entire nation."
And that's not all.
Yadav has earlier made comments on women's bodies in Parliament.
During a discussion on FDI, Yadav wanted to make a point about the Indian preference for 'fair' skin, but went on to say, "The women of the south are dark but they are... their bodies..." This is when DMK MP Kanimozhi interrupted him and objected to his remarks.
