Whisper App Reveals LGBT Confessions

LOOK: New App Reveals Deepest LGBT Secrets

During a time when being active on social media can be just as much a part of everyday life as breathing, it can be easy to slip up and post questionable things in a public forum.

Whether or not you use your real name or go by an alias, most content stays on the Web forever -- but if you could post your deepest thoughts or secrets anonymously, would it really matter?

Whisper, a new free mobile app, for ages 17 and over, allows users to post anonymous thoughts using a picture from cellphones or the Internet. Similar to Instagram, users can browse "whispers" and "like" them and or leave a comment.

Users can browse posts that are "nearby," "most popular" and or "most recent," as the Los Angeles Times notes.

If you're not already a part of this revealing social media community and want to be, the app is currently available on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, as well as Android devices.

In the spirit of Pride Month, we've gathered some LGBT confessions revealed on the app. Take a look at some of the rainbow-infused whispers below.
