Impossible though it may seem, roughly one-third of Americans actually like doing their taxes. Then there are the normal people, who perhaps feel a sense of guilt for not being able to stand the entire process. For those of you who fall into the latter category, here are 11 inarguably justified reasons to just hate tax day:

1. Filing Your Taxes Is Just Getting More And More Complicated: Upon conception, the 1040, that most famous of American tax forms, was nothing more than 27 lines on one simple form. My how times have changed! Today, it's 77 lines long and so complicated that it necessitates a 189-page appendix filled with instructions, according to Quartz.

2. The Wealthy Don't Pay Their Fair Share:
Occupy the IRS! Nearly 6 out of every ten Americans said in a 2011 Pew Research survey that what most bothers them about taxes is that the wealthy don't pay their fair share.

3. Fewer And Fewer People Think Taxes Are Fair At All:
It's not just populist rage filling the air, as only 55 percent of Americans think their own taxes are fair, according to Gallup.

4. Many Corporations Sport A Lower Effective Tax Rate Than The Middle Class:
General Electric, Facebook, FedEx and Pepco are among companies that paid no federal income tax in 2012, according to Citizens For Tax Justice. Meanwhile, the effective total tax rate for the middle-fifth of Americans this year will be around 27 percent.

5. TurboTax Is Preventing Us From Filing Our Taxes For Free: In other countries, filing your taxes is relatively painless: It's free and takes just a few minutes. But Intuit, the maker of TurboTax, has spent millions of dollars lobbying in part to ensure that this doesn't become a reality here, ProPublica reports.

6. Tax Filing Is Super Time Consuming And Expensive: The next logical step in our journey. According to the IRS, 68 percent of filers who use Form 1040 spend around 22 hours filing their taxes at an average cost of $290 -- talk about a taxing situation, am I right?

7. Taxes On Capital Gains Are Generally Lower Than Income Tax Rates: As it states clearly on the Internal Revenue Service's website, investors pay less in taxes than you or I do on our own income. In other words, it's good to be rich.

8. Taxes Make It Harder To Work From Home:
Telecommuting is made more complicated by states, like New York, that implement a form of double taxation for out-of-state teleworkers. This is curbing the environmental and mental health advantages of being able to work from home.

9. You Can Be Deported For Not Filing Your Taxes:
Sit down for this one, ladies and gentleman. Bad things happen if you don't file your taxes! Such bad things include having your passport revoked, being denied housing assistance or even deportation, according to The New York Times.

10. Small Businesses Hate Taxes Too:
Small business say that inconsistencies and complications with the tax system are one of their biggest problems, according to the National Small Business Association. In fact, 25 percent of surveyed small businesses said they spend a whooping 120 hours every year just on the administration of federal taxes.

11. Taxes Are Inherently Unpatriotic: Hello, does The Boston Tea Party ring any bells!? Our forefathers rebelled against British rule largely to protest a series of unpopular taxes. We were practically born to be annoyed!
