External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's husband, Swaraj Kaushal, is an acknowledged master of the Twitter repartee.
When a Twitter user quizzed him on his spouse Sushma Swaraj's salary, Kaushal nailed it.
Dekho - Meri umar aur Madam ki tankhah nahin poochho. These are bad manners. https://t.co/p7wcxI622l— Governor Swaraj (@governorswaraj) July 9, 2017
As the old — and very dated — tip on manners goes: 'Never ask a woman her age, and a man his salary'. The advice rests on the idea that the man is the family breadwinner and, for a woman, her looks are paramount.
With his witty response, Kaushal just taught the world an important lesson.
The former governor of Mizoram is often flooded with tweets — some requesting him to get Swaraj to unblock them on her Twitter timeline and others asking him to pass along messages to her. Kaushal is always ready with a witty response.
Once, when asked why he doesn't follow his wife on Twitter, he replied, "Because I am not stranded in Libya or Yemen."
When a 'concerned' gentleman wondered when Kaushal had last met his wife, he said:
Are you an RTI activist ? https://t.co/sI8cZf40ya— Governor Swaraj (@governorswaraj) February 16, 2017
People love his tweets and keep complimenting him.

Keep 'em coming Mr Kaushal!
