The 38-year-old tailor who recently confessed to sexually assaulting over 500 minors over a 13-year period, reportedly didn't even take his teenage daughter to the hospital when she was sick. He had other things on his mind, such as looking for his next victim.

According to a report in the Indian Express, on 10 January, Sunil Rastogi, along with his brother-in-law had brought his daughter, who was suffering from high fever, to Delhi from Rudrapur to take her to a hospital.

But Rastogi left his daughter and his brother-in-law at a relative's place, hurrying out because he had to take care of some 'business'.

According to IE, Rastogi didn't return till the end of the day and his 13-year-old daughter had to go to the doctor all by herself.

Police reports suggest that Rastogi was on the prowl for under-aged girls, and had even managed to take two girls, aged 10 and 11, to isolated buildings, but they had managed to escape.

Rastogi had earlier been arrested in 2006 for allegedly sexually abusing a girl in Uttarakhand, where he lives. The police finally caught up with him when a minor from New Ashok Nagar in East Delhi came forward to file a complaint on 13 December. The police are also investigating whether Rastogi has sexually assaulted his own children, NDTV reported. He has three girls and two boys.
