11 Interesting Things We Learnt About Katrina Kaif From Her Facebook Live Session

For instance, she would like to read people's minds so she's never left 'betrayed.' Hmm.

Katrina Kaif has always been media-shy. By her own admission, that is because she is closed and socially reclusive as a person.

However, it seems she's making a very conscious effort to become more 'social' as is evident from the periodic updates on her recently created Facebook page.

On Thursday night, she did a Facebook Live chat with her fans, in which she revealed several interesting things about her life.

Here are a few of them:

1. She doesn't know how millennials roll

Responding to a question about whether she uses any acronyms in real life like millennials do, the actress revealed that she has no idea what the term means. Her manager helpfully pointed out that it refers to the current generation (well, actually it refers to anyone who reached young adulthood around the year 2000). But Kat had no idea of what terms like YOLO (You Only Live Once) and FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) stood for. "Are we short of time or words?" she exclaimed. "Where is everyone going? Why can't we say the whole sentence? I believe in sending long messages which have a beginning, middle, and an end and then I will also throw in a joke! Why use these acronyms at all?"

#LOL

2. Her choice of subject she'd like to teach is truly, um, unique

Katrina revealed that if she were to take a class at a university, that would be Algebra. Why, you ask? According to the Baar Baar Dekho actress, it is simply because it sounds "really cool" when you tell that to someone. "I teach ALGEBRAH class," Katrina said with dramatic effect, to back her claim. "People would go, wow, that is amazing."

3. If she had a superpower, she'd want to read minds

The actress wants to be able to read minds so she's never left 'broken hearted, upset, or betrayed.'

It must be noted that only months ago, Katrina broke up with her long-time boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor who she was living in with at a Bandra apartment. "Life would be so simple and sorted if I had that superpower," Katrina sighed.

4. The one movie that made her cry

"I cried while watching Udta Punjab. Firstly, because it was genuinely a very touching and sensitive movie and second because I was not in it! So there was crying in the movie and there was crying after the movie," she said.

5. A music video that she wanted to be a part of.

I am going to choose Michael Jackson's In the Closet which also had Naomi Campbell . I think it's one of the most beautifully shot, edgy videos and I would have loved to be a part of it!"

6. She is petrified of public speaking

"When I have to speak in public, I get super nervous. You can send me on a platform to dance, on a film set to act in front of many people. But when you send me on a stage to talk, my hands go cold, my stomach churns and my mouth goes dry. I have classic stage fright." Who'da thunk?

7. A comedy she wanted to be a part of is literally one of our favorite films of recent times

"Deadpool! I think it's the greatest movie ever and I love everything about it! Ryan Reynolds is perhaps my favorite Hollywood actor."

8. Somebody asked her that she doesn't seem 'genuinely happy' (well done, people)

Karina completely ignored the question by using the classic celeb trick of skillful evasion. "I am very transparent. Whatever I am thinking is on my face. I think that's why I became an actor. My face shows every emotion — happy, sad, distracted."

Wait, what was the question again?

9. One young actor she admires

"Sushant Singh Rajput. I think he was really, really good in the Dhoni biopic."

10. A biopic she'd love to do

"That'd be Indira Gandhi. I don't think so anybody has done it yet. I would love to essay that role."

Interestingly, in 2010 Katrina appeared in Prakash Jha's Raajneeti, where her role was said to be loosely inspired by Sonia Gandhi.

11. Current TV show she's obsessing over

Peaky Blinders.

She's also a major Game of Thrones fan (Jon Snow happens to be her favorite character).
