The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, which goes on sale in India on April 10th gets one of the best third-party endorsements in this drop test. This video, on YouTube uploaded by Korean user Beaminwoo shows it being dropped with considerable velocity on a hard floor thrice, only to survive the ordeal without a scratch.
The video is a testimony to the S6's improved build quality, which it owes to the Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection panel, non-removable battery, metal and glass build.
The new S6 phones are listed on the company's e-store are currently available for pre-order 32GB and 64GB variants — the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge have a starting price of Rs 49,900 and 58,900 respectively for the 32 GB model, while the 64 GB models are priced at 55,900 and 64,900 respectively.
