'Real Talent': Twitter Goes Gaga Over Sumit Nagal After US Open Match Against Federer

Sumit Nagal played against Roger Federer in the first round of the US Open on Tuesday and won the first set by 6-4. He, however, lost the match with Federer winning the next three sets 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

Nagal, according to PTI, is only the fourth Indian to win a set in the main draw of a Grand Slam in the last 20 years.

“It was a tough first set for me. He played pretty strong so credit to him. I was missing a lot of balls so I was trying to cut down the unforced errors. Hopefully, it will get better,” Federer was quoted as saying by PTI.

Nagal is going to have a “very solid career,” Federer later said.
