Clashes broke out in Delhi’s Seelampur between protesters and police personnel as the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act continue across the country. Police lathi charged the protesters and fired tear gas to push the crow back.

A police picket was reportedly set ablaze, along with two-wheelers parked in the area. Protesters and police personnel were injured in the clashes.

The situation remains tense in Seelampur. Six metro stations have been shut following the clash — Johri Enclave, Shiv Vihar, Seelampur, Gokulpuri, Jaffrabad, Maujpur-Babarpur and Welcome.
