Comedian Trevor Noah, host of The Daily Show, tried to make light of the tension between India and Pakistan during one of his episodes. And it has backfired with much criticism from Twitter users.

Noah said that while he hoped the two countries don’t go to war, if they did, it would be the “most entertaining war of all time”. He then said that Indian soldiers would run into the battlefield and shoot while singing and dancing.

Noah has been called out for his “downright offensive” joke, with people calling him “racist”. Others said they were “tremendously” disappointed with Noah.
