Election Results 2019: Milind Deora Loses From Mumbai South

The son of late Congress leader and former union minister Murli Deora was pitted against Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant

NEW DELHI: Mumbai Congress president Milind Deora lost from Mumbai South Lok Sabha constituency in Maharashtra in the 2019 Lok Sabha election is underway.

The son of late Congress leader and former union minister Murli Deora was pitted against Shiv Sena’s Arvind Sawant.

Sawant had defeated Deora in 2014 Lok Sabha polls from the same seat by 1,28,564 votes.

Deora was appointed as the chief of Congress’s Mumbai unit on the eve of elections.
