Man In Bihar's Araria Killed By Mob For Alleged Cow Theft

In yet another mob lynching, this time in Bihar’s Araria, a 55-year-old Muslim man was beaten to death by a mob on allegations of stealing a cow.

The incident which took place on 29 December, 2018 came to light when the video of it went viral.

NDTV reported that the man named Kabul Miyan, a former village head, could be heard begging for his life before the mob, but they did not stop beating him till he died.

The mob reportedly called the victim a thief and even egged each other on to beat up him up.

The NDTV report said the perpetrators removed the man’s pants as they continued to beat him.

The news channel has reported the police as saying that an FIR has been filed against unknown persons and has said that the accused in the case were known to the victim.
