ISRO on Monday successfully carried out the separation of lander ‘Vikram’ from the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter. The next manoeuvre is scheduled for Tuesday.
ISRO said there would also be another deorbit manoeuvre on 4 September.
In an update, ISRO also said the health of the Orbiter and Lander is being monitored from the Mission Operations Complex (MOX) at ISRO Telemetry, Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC) in Bengaluru with support from Indian Deep Space Network (IDSN) antennas at Bylalu.
All the systems of Chandrayaan-2 orbiter and lander are healthy.
This comes after ISRO successfully performed the fifth and final lunar bound orbit manoeuvre for the Chandrayaan 2 spacecraft on Sunday.

Vikram (with rover ‘Pragyan’ housed inside) is expected to touch down on the lunar surface on 7 September, between 1.30 am and 2.30 am.
ISRO Chairman K Sivan has said the proposed soft-landing on the Moon would be a “terrifying” moment as it is something ISRO has not done before, according to PTI.
