Jennifer Aniston And Reese Witherspoon Recreate Their Most Famous Friends Exchange

The pair are currently set to star alongside one another in Apple's The Morning Show.

Reese Witherspoon was there for Jennifer Aniston when the Friends star recently forgot her line from their iconic exchange in the hit sitcom.

In an Access Hollywood interview this week, the co-stars of the much-anticipated Apple TV+ dramedy The Morning Show were tasked with commenting on throwback fashion photographs of themselves together over the years.

This included a snap of them in the Friends coffee shop Central Perk as on-screen sisters Rachel and Jill Green, when Reese, appeared in a two-episode cameo during the sitcom’s sixth series.

“Is this where you say the line that you love so much?” asked Jennifer, who broke a world record this week after joining Instagram.

“Yes. This is, well, we can say the line. Do you remember your line?” replied Reese, who had to whisper it into her co-star’s ear ― allowing them to recreate the iconic “can’t have?” exchange (check out the original moment in the video below).

In 2000, Reese made her debut in Friends playing Rachel’s sister, who hopes to follow in the character’s footsteps and make it without the financial help of their father.

However, things quickly turn sour between the sisters when Jill takes an interest in Rachel’s long-term on-off boyfriend Ross, played by David Schwimmer.

Years later, Christina Applegate would appear in two further episodes of Friends as Rachel’s similarly-spoilt sister Amy.

The Morning Show stars Jennifer and Reese opposite former The Office US actor Steve Carrell and Gugu Mbatha-Raw, best known for her role in Black Mirror episode San Junipero.

It debuts on Apple TV+ on 1 November 2019.
