Wondering If The ITR Deadline Has Been Extended? It Hasn't.

Don’t believe rumours of a government order extending the deadline to file your ITR.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes on Friday tweeted saying the last day for filing tax returns is still August 31, ie tomorrow.

The previous deadline to file ITR filing was July 31. Last month, the income tax department extended it by one month

It is mandatory for every taxpayer to file income tax returns.
