From being unable to pay their bills to transfer funds, HDFC Bank customers continued to face problems on Tuesday as the bank’s mobile app and net banking facility remained affected for the second day in a row.

Some customers complained on Twitter that they got an error message when they tried to log in to their accounts. HuffPost India also tried to log in through net banking and received the following error message:

In a series of tweets on Monday, the bank said only some customers are facing trouble due to a technical glitch and its experts are working to restore services. However, the banking services were still not functional on Tuesday and HDFC Bank acknowledged that the “resolution of the technical glitch is taking more time than anticipated”.

Several people on Twitter complained about being unable to pay their credit card bills and asked if the bank would bear the penalty for late payment.

To these complaints, HDFC Bank replied with a “range of hassle-free, faster and convenient options to pay your Credit Card bills”.

People have also pointed out that they are unable to transfer money to other bank accounts or for loan payments.

Others are concerned about paying rent on time.

Meanwhile, HDFC Bank’s tweet about starting the day with “positive thoughts” has also not gone down well with people.

A year ago, HDFC Bank customers had faced similar issues when the bank had launched a new version of its mobile app. The login issues forced the bank to restore the old version of the app, according to Bloomberg.
