If you slept early on Sunday night, you missed one of the most dramatic moments in sports history.

England won the 2019 Cricket World Cup, their maiden win, on boundary count after the epic final ended in a tie and the championship had to move into its first-ever Super Over.

Meanwhile, Novak Djokovic defeated Roger Federer in the longest final ever played at Wimbledon, after he saved two match points to clinch his 16th Grand Slam win. Djokovic’s win also came through the first-ever tiebreaker at the tournament after it changed rules for 5-setter matches last year.

And it all took place AT THE SAME TIME.

People were understandably shook.

Even Wimbledon had to check on International Cricket Council to see how it was doing. ICC needed a few moments to comprehend the turn of events at its tournament.

People set up multiples screens to keep up with the developments of each match.

Cat gifs had to be deployed to express the true drama of events unfolding at both the matches.

Hearts were on the line.

And soon the matches were melding into each other.

Here’s the thing though. Wimbledon and the Cricket World Cup were not the only major sporting events taking place at the time.

At the British Grand Prix, Lewis Hamilton was racing towards a record-breaking sixth win.

And at the Africa Cup, Algeria was locked in a tense semi-final match against Nigeria which it won in the very last kick of the game.

Thoughts and prayers for people who tried to watch EVERYTHING.
