Class 2 Andhra Girl Went Home Bleeding After Headmaster Allegedly Raped Her

Reports say the girl was in pain and went back home with blood stains on her clothes.

The headmaster of a government school in Andhra Pradesh was arrested on allegations of raping a student of Class 2 in his school on Tuesday.

Reports say the man raped his eight-year-old student who went back home bleeding.

The incident took place in Agiripalli of the Krishna District in Andhra Pradesh.

NDTV reported that the headmaster allegedly took the girl to an empty room and rape her.

The report said she went home with blood on her clothes and was in pain. The girl’s mother said she took her to a private hospital where the doctors said that the girl had been raped. The girl had to get stitches to stop the bleeding.

The survivor’s mother on Thursday lodged a complaint at the Agiripalli Police Station, following which the accused was arrested.

Agiripalli Sub-inspector V Esubu they were carrying out investigations in the case.

Cases under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act and SC and ST Atrocity Act have been registered against the headmaster.

“The accused has been suspended from service with immediate effect. A departmental inquiry into the incident has also been ordered,” said District Education Officer MV Rajya Lakshmi.
