Australia were struggling at 198 for five at tea on the third day of the fourth and final Test in Sydney Saturday, responding to India’s mammoth first-innings total of 622 for seven declared.

At the break, Peter Handscomb and skipper Tim Paine were batting on 21 and 5 respectively, as Australia trailed by 424 runs.
