Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh on Wednesday allocated portfolios to the council of minister on advice of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, who has kept nine departments.
Gehlot kept the key finance and home departments with him, along with excise, planning, department of personnel among others.
Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot was given five portfolios — Public works, Rural Development, Panchayati Raj, Science and Technology and Statistics.
The 13 cabinet ministers and 10 ministers of state, who had taken oath on Monday, were also allocated portfolios.
The move came after Gehlot met Congress president Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi on Wednesday amid reports of disagreement between the veteran leader and his deputy Pilot over portfolio allocation.
