Zafar Rais has a well-heeled experience of more than a decade in areas of Marketing, Branding, Sales, Operations, Research and Product Innovation. <br> <br> He started his career as a ‘Marketing Consultant’ with Oxygen Healthcare Communications where he was accountable for building strategy to achieve the business objectives of Hungama, Bristol-Myers Squib and Glaxo. Zafar played varied roles in his career but with a focus on Digital, a calling that came while he worked in the branding department of Kellogg India Pvt. Ltd., taking on the onus of creating interactive social engagement. <br> <br> After adequate experience on the client and product side, Zafar forayed into an <br> entrepreneurial role taking the lead on Business Development and Operations within Social Media. His role as a Business Head at Wat Consult was to bring in new business along with streamlining the company towards higher productivity and profitability, ensuring delivery of commitments via strategic and holistic social media campaigns. <br> On studying the Internet usage in India and understanding how consumers are increasingly using the digital sphere as a platform to engage with businesses, Zafar established a need state for ‘Mindshift Interactive’. Through his entrepreneurial venture he promises to deliver an Insightful Digital Outreach for businesses and create a presence for brands that is intelligent, impactful, innovative and, most of all, sustained. Under Zafar’s leadership, MindShift Interactive runs three different business verticals, namely, MindShift Digital (Digital Marketing, Influencer Relations & Mobile Technology), MindShift Metrics (Digital Research Consulting) and MindShift Activate (Events & Promotions), with each working towards achieving a unified goal of providing brands with the ideal mix of power and wow moments.
