In order to drive her campaign successfully, she studied Punjab exhaustively and witnessed the truth with her own eyes by visiting various villages in the state and conducting a thorough research about the real situation of the state. Shocked at the revelation of the drug abuse problem that has been slaying Punjab for the past many decades, she decided to create awareness about the same, which she did with her documentary on Punjab’s drug menace, named “Fading Glory – Punjab, Hope Not Lost”. Her documentary which was highly appreciated by the media was released in Amritsar on 18th March’ 2016 by Congress Vice President- Sh. Rahul Gandhi and Punjab Congress President, Captain Amarinder Singh. An ardent spokesperson who impels audiences to think about the downfall of Punjab, Sadhavi appears on national TV as a panelist and has talked over grave social issues on channels like Aaj Tak, CNBC-TV18 and NDTV. Sadhavi is also an author who is in the thick of writing her book on Punjab’s downfall along with Ex- DGP of Punjab, KPS Gill. She has penned several incisive write-ups on different political and social issues of national importance.
