In my experience, undertaking the scenes with nudity was extremely liberating. I had many complexes about my body since I learned about it as a child, and the invasive stereotyping and sexualisation of both men and women in this industry didn't help. The obsession with slimness, flawless skin, long legs, round ass, big boobs, fair skin... it all made me feel very small.
A common man can only do one job well and be satisfied with his life! But then there is a breed of those who can’t fit in or be satisfied with cliched ways of life. Challenge, both accepting and overcoming them is in their DNA and they were born to achieve, more and further more. A woman with such very ideals and passion goes by the name of Radhika Apte. An actress by both profession and sheer love for the art, Apte has grown up in an environment where she has observed and been around the most ambitious people.

Born in Pune as the daughter to one of the city’s leading and most respected neurosurgeon, Dr Charudutt Apte, Radhika since her childhood was driven by a stride to follow her heart and be famous at what she does. It was her explosive talent that earned her the notice in Bollywood and her latest release Badlapur has earned the reputation of being one of the most promising actresses Bollywood should look out for. The year 2015 is indeed an incredible year for Radhika as she awaits the release of films like - Mountain Man opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Hunterr with Gulshan Devaiah, Parched directed by Leena Yadav which is an Indo-American collaboration, A Bengali short film directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Not to forget, Apte will also be seen essaying the envious role of Binodhini in acclaimed film director Anurag bass mini TV series Choker Bali which will soon debut on the soon to be aired EPIC channel.

While 2015 is most definitely going to be a glorious year for Radhika, she never ceases to push herself to achieve more.
