Pavan Choudary, is the DG of Medical Technology Association of India and the Managing Director (1997 till date) of Vygon, a leading French Multinational in the field of Healthcare. He is a part of the global strategy team of Vygon and leads its M & A activity in India. He is the author of The Rx Factor- Strategic Creativity in Pharmaceutical Marketing, a seminal work on marketing and strategy in healthcare, How a Good Person can Really Win (revised edition of When you are sinking become a submarine- Winning Through Wisdom and Creativity) which received the Eric Hoffer Award and Readers’ Favorite Award for 2015, Broom & Groom- a Hygiene classic (Co-Author Kiran Bedi) and with Congress leader and Ex Finance Minister, Government of India, Anil Shastri, Lal Bahadur Shastri* - Lessons in Leadership which was released by the Dalai Lama in Delhi. He also hosts the nation building TV show Hum Aisey Kyun Hain on DD & writes the column Mera Gaon Mera Desh for the Times of India. The Times of India once rated him, “amongst the foremost thinkers of the world”. A highly regarded Management Strategist, he is the Chairman of & Director General of the Medical Technology association of India (, Co-Chair of the Medical Technology Division of CII and sits on the boards/advisory boards of some of the most respectable organizations of India. Pavan has lectured at the IIMs (Indian Institutes of Management at Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Kozhikode), the Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad and the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie, Sydney Technical University, Singapore Management University and other prestigious institutes in India and abroad as well as addressed the senior management of several leading companies from across the world. He is a trustee on the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Memorial Trust and has for nearly two decades, designed innovative course content for MDPs and conducted the same, especially for top management at various fora.
