As Vice President for Riverbed India and SAARC, Nagendra (Venky) Venkaswamy is responsible for driving the company’s growth and expansion strategy across the region, as well as management of the sales and channel teams. Venky is a veteran in the Indian networking and information technology industry, with more than 30 years’ experience across IT, operations, organization-building, and growth strategies. He also has significant experience building channel-led business models, working closely with distributors and VARs, to create new or expanded revenue-generating opportunities. Prior to joining Riverbed, he served as a mentor to startups in India. Previously, he held several senior executive positions in the region, including Managing Director, India and South Asia, Arista Networks, where he was responsible for building operations of the company in the areas of Cloud and Datacenter operations. He also served as President of Tejas Network and Managing Director at Juniper Networks, where he played a key role in helping to build the brand from a start up to one of the leading networking players in India.   Venky lives in Bangalore with his wife Deepta.
