Karan Mangotra currently works as a Fellow at The Energy & Resources Institute in New Delhi where his key responsibilities include Climate Policy and Finance. Currently he is working on ensuring effective implementation of the NDCs for various developing countries through innovative business models. Prior to this, he was working as an energy efficiency specialist at UNDP, India. His key responsibilities there included energy efficiency improvements in commercial buildings as well the preparation of the INDC submission by India. He holds an engineering degree from Bangalore and an MBA in climate finance from the University of East Anglia, UK. He has been a part of the team of authors for the Indian NATCOM & BUR.
