Senior Director – Marketing, Polycom Asia Pacific & Japan
Gabrielle Cichero is Senior Director, Marketing for Polycom Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ). She has more than 15 years of industry experience, defining and executing strategies for business that drive growth, customer trust, and employee engagement.
In her role, Gabrielle leads the marketing team across APJ and oversees the company’s marketing strategy for the region, primarily focusing on sales alignment and leading key field marketing initiatives. She is additionally responsible for implementing demand generation and lead management to accomplish Polycom’s annual growth and operating plans for APJ. She will also place a strong emphasis on continuing to build the company’s brand across the region.
Gabrielle has served in a number of senior marketing roles in technology. She was previously with cyber security company FireEye, where she was Head of Marketing for APJ, covering a wide area of responsibilities. These included partner marketing, digital and web marketing, new product introduction, public relations, content creation and event management.
She previously spent seven years at Hewlett Packard (HP), where she undertook multiple roles, including Senior Director, Marketing, Asia Pacific. During her term, Gabrielle was a member of the senior leadership team and had marketing responsibility for the Security, Information Management and IT Management business units. She was twice awarded the HP Global Marketing Stars award. In a previous role, she spent nine years at Mercury Interactive, a software and SaaS company acquired by HP in 2006, and held various marketing roles, including Director, Marketing Programs, Asia Pacific.
Gabrielle is based in Sydney, Australia and has two Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Management from Macquarie Graduate School of Management. In her spare time, she volunteers with the New South Wales Bush Fire Brigade.
