Dr. Dilpreet Brar is founder, CEO & MD of medECUBE Healthcare, an “asset-less” care coordination concierge service venture conceptualized. medECube helps patients seek the right care, at the right place and at the right cost.  Having spent over two decades, both on the clinical and management side of the profession, Dr. Brar understands all key pain-points of the consumer and healthcare practitioners and is, therefore, best placed to pioneer this concept. In her career spanning over 25 years, Dr. Brar has to her credit successful conceptualization, launch and management of over a dozen hospitals across Delhi-NCR and Punjab. She has extensive experience and knowledge of both strategy and execution—encompassing business planning, budgeting, negotiating with key stakeholders, managing the interplay between operations and projects, building a talent pipeline, marketing and infrastructure management. After completing her medical education from Punjab University in 1981, Dr. Brar spent immersed herself into clinical practice in Chandigarh and Ludhiana. She shifted to Delhi to join Indraprastha Apollo Hospital as a Resident Medical Officer in and thereafter ascended the corporate ladder to hold many prestigious management positions.  At Max Healthcare, she served as an Executive Director till October, 2011 and moved to Fortis in November 2011 to inhabit the office of Regional Director. She steered FMRI (Fortis Memorial Research Institute) from its inception in August’ 2012 it becoming a $100 Million business in 3 years. Meanwhile, she also completed a management course from Harvard Business School in 2010. Dr. Brar understands the pulse of people, especially patients when they are ailing and in need of a caring and healing hand. Dr. Brar’s hands-on approach characterizes a unique transdisciplinary style of leadership. Her vision of bridging the gap between medical resource(s) availability and patients drives her to make medECUBE an effective solution for friction areas in the current healthcare delivery scenario.
