But he was undoubtedly the most-loved person to have ever occupied Rashtrapati Bhavan and his would probably be the first name mentioned (in error) if the man on the street was asked to list pre-eminent Indian scientists.

But Raju could do it the other way around and inflate profits. Since all the profits came from exports, everything was exempt from income tax.

Second, it has to find ways of acquiring land for infra projects without sparking huge amounts of civil society resistance. The previous UPA governments signally failed at both tasks.
