Disclaimer: I am a supporter of higher-education, but with this post, I intend to bring to light how 'general trends' have

I, Abhinav Kejriwal, am a former student of The Doon School, Dehradun. I graduated from in March 2015 and was admitted to schools like UCLA and Johns Hopkins for Fall 2016. However, I chose to drop College for a while, and not be a victim to what I’ve identified as an ongoing ‘College-Rush’ (extremely similar to the Gold Rush in California in 1848). Instead, I focused on finding my self, my true identity and thus, embarked on a journey to discover life through ‘Life University’ - an autodidactic omnivorous polymathic approach.

I paused to listen to my inner voice, and filter out the external voices which had creeped in my head very subtly. I felt Education is an organic process, and not a mechanical one.

I realized I must develop the hidden tools of life, which no Education System teaches; it is these unseen tools of life that prepare one for the Ultimate Journey of ‘Life University’. These tools may be labelled as ‘Soft Skills’ or ‘Life Skills’, but in actuality, they are a representation of Gestalt (A combined whole, which is more than the sum of its parts).
Through this Blog, I intend to share the Knowledge I have gained which has revolutionized my perspective on Life. So read on…
We aspire to change the world and innovate like Steve Jobs did. We strive to be leaders of the century. We want to make a difference globally, like Gates, Zuckerberg and Musk. But let me ask you one simple question. When was the last time you made your bed? Or rather, when was the last time you remembered trimming your toenails… without someone having to prompt you?
