These 12 Seats in MP Are Keeping Everyone Guessing This Election

The trends are changing almost every minute in these 12 constituencies, where the margin of votes is less than 500

Despite the conclusion of more than half the rounds of counting, it is unclear as to which way the electoral pendulum is swinging in Madhya Pradesh this election.

The Congress is leading in 117 seats, one more than the majority mark in the 230-member assembly, according to the latest trends from the Election Commission of India website.

The BJP is leading in 103 seats and has won one seat. The Bahujan Samaj Party and the Samajwadi Party are leading in four and two seats respectively.

However, the trends are changing almost every minute and 12 constituencies, where the margin of votes is less than 500, are going to decide who rules MP for the next five years.

The vote margin at Datia, Deotalab, Garoth, Ghatiya, Harda, Katangi, Kolaras, Narela, Nepanagar, Rajnagar, Teonthar seats is less than 500 votes. Jaitpur seat is witnessing the closest battle, where the BJP's Manisha Singh is leading by only 97 votes against Congress Uma Dhurwey.

In Datia, it's a close fight between Congress candidate Bharti Rajendra who has 40625 votes and BJP's Dr Narottam Mishra who has secured 40333 votes.

Deotalab assembly constituency is also seeing a close race with BSP's Seema Jaiveer Singh Sengar leading with 21804 votes against BJP's Girish Gautam with 21541 votes.

In Garoth, its a close fight between Congress candidate Subhash Kumar Sojatia who has 49982 votes against BJP's Devilal Dhakad with 49584 votes.

Harda is seeing a competition between Kamal Patel of the BJP with 58981 votes and Congress candidate Dr.Ramkishore Dogne with 57749 votes.

In Ghatiya, Congress leader Ramlal Malviya is leading with 42696 votes and BJP's Ajit Premchand Guddu is trailing with 42326 votes.
