Telangana's caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is under fire for snapping at a man during a public meeting in Kagaznagar, according to reports.
Rao, reported The Times of India, burst out in anger at a man who asked him about 12% reservation for Muslims. This was one of the promises made by the TRS leader and the man wanted to know what happened to it.
Rao reportedly became angry and asked the man to sit down, accusing him of doing a 'tamasha'. A furious chief minister, according to ANI, burst out and said, "Baito. Tera baap ko bolunga na. Baito" (Sit, I will give your father the answer).
The Telangana Chief Minister also claimed that a rival party may have sent the man to disrupt his meeting. He was quoted as saying in The Times of India report, "A rival party making a person drink and sending him to this meeting cannot be ruled out. It happens."
The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee has condemned Rao's behaviour and called him a "dictator", according to ANI.
