A man allegedly masturbated in front of a woman on a bus in Delhi and remained unfazed even when she shouted at him.
NDTVreported that the woman thrashed the man and then called the police after the incident, which took place on Tuesday evening during her bus journey from Kapashera to Vasant Kunj.
The woman has alleged that none of the other passengers came to help her.
News18reported the woman as saying that she was sitting on the seats reserved for women and the man stood in front of her and started masturbating. She said that she shouted at him and when no one else came forward to help, she beat him up herself.
She informed the police, and reports say the culprit has been arrested.
In February 2018, a student of the Delhi University had lodged an FIR after a man sat beside her and masturbated on a DTC bus. He was also alleged to have touched her waist repeatedly.
In April 2018, an Uber driver was arrested for masturbating while ferrying a woman from the airport to central Delhi. When the woman realised this and asked the driver to take her to a police station, he fled. He was later arrested.
