Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, said on Monday that they were terminating Suhel Seth contract as their consultant. This was reportedly because of the sexual harassment allegations against him.

Spokesperson of the company told ANI that they were not renewing Seth's contract that ends on 30 November.

NDTV reported sources as saying Tata Sons took the decision to end the contract with Counselage, Seth's firm, before time and with a month notice, over the allegations against Seth.

The decision comes in the wake of the #MeToo movement where several women including filmmaker Natasha Rathore , writer Ira Trivedi and journalist Mandakini Gahlot have accused Seth of sexual harassment.

In her account, Rathore accused Seth of taking her to his Gurgaon home instead of taking her to Janpath and then sexually harassing her.

Gahlot had said she was "harassed and humiliated" by Seth in 2011, when she was 26 years old. She the incident took place at an event in Goa's Taj Aguada hotel.
