In a new FIR lodged on Sunday, the wife of Apple employee Vivek Tiwari, who was shot dead by a constable in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow, has alleged that the police who came to the spot after the shooting did not allow his colleague Sana Khan to make calls and also forced her to sign a blank paper.

Kalpana Tiwari has also alleged that one of the two constables, during the incident on Saturday night, put the nozzle of his gun on the windshield of the car and shot at Tiwari.

According to The Indian Express, Kalpana in her FIR quoted Khan as saying, "I was with my colleague ASM sir (Tiwari was the Area Sales Manager of Apple), returning home at around 1.30 am when suddenly Prashant Chaudhary and Sandeep Kumar came in front of the car. ASM (Tiwari) sir got scared and as he had a female friend with him, he tried to move his car by escaping. At the same time, the constable sitting on the back seat of (their) motorcycle and having a cane in his hand (got off) the motorcycle. Prashant Chaudhary, who was on the front seat, put his pistol against the wind shield and fired with intention to kill."

This was the second FIR filed in the incident. The first had been filed by Khan earlier. Two police constables, Chowdhary and Sandip Kumar, who were involved in the incident.

Hindustan Times reported that after making Khan sign a blank paper, the police made her write an application narrating the incident in a way that favoured the two constables.

Meanwhile, a UP minister has also alleged that officials in the state had also tried to cover up the incident.

Brajesh Pathak told ANI on Sunday, "Some high-level officials are trying to manipulate and hide things. A probe will be conducted against them as well. UP government will not pardon any criminal, including the police personnel who killed the innocent youth."

Tiwari was shot early on Saturday morning in Lucknow's Gomti Nagar neighbourhood.

The police first claimed that he was shot because he refused to stop his car to be checked.

An SIT has been created to probe the killing. The UP DGP has called the incident a criminal case.
