In a historic verdict, the Supreme Court of India struck down the archaic Section 377 that criminalised gay sex in the country and Bollywood couldn't have been happier.

The historic win came after years of struggle and was welcomed by people from across the country, but celebrities including Sonam K Ahuja, Karana Johar and Kalki Koechlin took to Twitter to express their happiness over the Supreme Court's decision.

Here's what they said:

Crying tears of joy for the lgbtqi community. One day there won't be any labels and we will all live in utopia. pic.twitter.com/veQe1S92FD
