CCTV Footage Helps Madhya Pradesh Police Arrest Men Who Molested 10-Year-Old Girl

BHOPAL -- Two people have been arrested for attempting to molest a 10-yr-old girl in Madhya Pradesh's Shivpuri, the police said on Tuesday.

Talking to the media, Additional Superintendent of Police Kamal Maurya said, "Two unidentified men tried to molest a 10-yr-old girl two days ago. The accused were arrested after examining the CCTV footage of the incident."

In the CCTV footage of the incident, that took place on 24 September, the accused can be seen reaching out to the girl. When she moves backward, he stretches his hand and grabs her.

The two accused disguised themselves as painters and tried to molest the victim.

However, the girl managed to escape before anything worst could happen.

The investigation is underway.
