A British national, Murray Denis Ward, has been arrested by the Delhi police on charges of raping three visually impaired minors at the capital's National Association for the Blind (NAB) in RK Puram.
Reports suggest that Ward, a resident of Gloucestershire, has been associated with the NGO for 8-9 years.
Outlook quoted the police as saying, "A PCR call was received at RK Puram police station on Sunday afternoon regarding sexual harassment of minor kids at National Association For The Blind, Sector 5, RK Puram."
The incident took place on Saturday after which the PCR call was placed.
News18 reports that the 53-year-old was charged with several sections of Prevention of Child Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and was produced in court today.
Ward is said to have been working for Sterlite Technology Limited in Gurgaon till April this year, reported The Indian Express.
Ward is said to have a wife and three children who live back home.
The News18 report also said that some objectionable videos of children were also found on his laptop, and he is said to have circulates such videos through WhatsApp.
