PHOTOS: PM Modi To Baba Ramdev, Our Political Leaders Busted Some Major Moves This International Yoga Day

India had taken the initiative to declare June 21 as International Yoga Day and since its inception in 2015, every year ministers of the Narendra Modi government have come together to celebrate the day in different parts of the country.

Like the last two years, this year too Twitter was awash with photographs of ministers trying to master yoga poses be it at events or at the gym.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spearheaded the campaign on the benefits of yoga. This year he was in Lucknow, leading an International Yoga day event. Today he tweeted urging everyone to practice yoga saying, "In addition to fitness, wellness is important. Yoga is a medium to achieve wellness.I urge everyone to make Yoga a part of their lives."

BJP President Amit Shah celebrated International Yoga Day with Baba Ramdev and Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani in Ahmedabad. And given it was Baba Ramdev who was leading the event, it is possible that they may have had quite a tough session.
