On Wednesday night, Sunny Leone was flying back to Mumbai from Latur, where she had gone to attend an event.

The actress was accompanied by her husband Daniel Weber and a few other members of her team when the private jet encountered bad weather mid-air.

According to Business Standard, the turbulence was so bad that the pilots had to divert the aircraft to the nearest airport, which was in Aurangabad.

The pilots took the decision to divert the aircraft as they anticipated weather conditions to worsen further.

In a series of tweets, Sunny chronicled the near-death experience and thanked her pilots for 'saving our lives.'

The actress finally drove from Aurangabad to Mumbai.
