Stephen Colbert is declaring victory over President Donald Trump.
“You see a no-talent guy like Colbert,” Trump told Time magazine. “There’s nothing funny about what he says.”
“And what he says is filthy. And you have kids watching,” added the president, who caused outrage in October when a tape emerged him using an expletive to brag about groping women.
That quote was practically music to the ears of the “Late Show” host. Upon reporting the news to his audience, Colbert began blowing kisses as if he had just won a big award.
“Mr. Trump, there is a lot you don’t understand,” Colbert said. “But I never thought one of those things would be show business.”
