How To Make Your Favorite Coffee Drink, Explained With Illustrations

Let’s be real. Who doesn’t love coffee?

For those of you who don’t already have the ingredients for your favorite drink memorized, here are some simple illustrations that show what some of our favorite coffee beverages are made of.

1. Espresso

Espresso is a drink made for those of us who have no time to waste. Simple yet effectively caffeinated, this wonderful drink never disappoints in getting us through the day. It differs from drip coffee in that its beans are roasted much longer and then prepared by forcing hot water through tightly packed grounds.

2. Americano

Can’t take the strength of espresso? An Americano waters it down.

3. Cappuccino

Best enjoyed with pastries or by itself, cappuccino is a drink must-have for any social occasion.

4. Red Eye

Have you ever had an early-morning or a late-night flight? Unless you’re planning on feeling groggy and dozy, make sure to grab one of these suckers for a better flight experience.

5. Affogato

Espresso over ice cream? What more can we say?

6. Mocha Latte

If hot chocolate is for children, mocha lattes are definitely for the full grown-ups who still harbor that sweet tooth.

7. Espresso Con Panna

Espresso con panna is for those of us who are looking for something extra special. Creamy yet hard-hitting, this drink really takes our coffee obsession to the next level.

8. Irish Coffee

Who said you can enjoy a good old cup of Irish Coffee only on Saint Paddy’s? A mixture of our all two all time favorites, this bad boy is going to help you get through your upcoming night out!
