After being ranked as the second most-selling smartphone company in India, Xiaomi is set to launch another phone in the Redmi series in India. The phonemaker announced the launch in a tweet and Xiaomi India's VP, Manu Jain, confirmed the news. Jain added that after the opening of the Xiaomi store in Bengaluru, the launch will be the other important event for the company this month.
Xiaomi Redmi 4 was launched in China last year, along with the Redmi 4 Prime. The Redmi 4 smartphone has a 5-inch 720p display running on the back of Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor.
