Even as Eman Ahmed, said to be the world's heaviest woman and had come to India for treatment, is being moved to a hospital in Abu Dhabi, the doctor who was responsible for bringing her to India has said that he will miss her.

However, Dr Muffazal Lakdawala also warned that it may not be the best for her family to move her at this time.

According to NDTV, Lakdawala said that it was wrong thinking on the part of Eman's family during the time of difficultly.

"We are not discharging her. We are accepting her family's decision of transfer from Mumbai to UAE...Her medical reports have already been shared with UAE doctors. We do not know when they are taking her there," he told the news channel.

Eman's sister had made allegations earlier this month saying Indian doctors had lied to the family, stirring controversy.

But Dr Lakdawala has maintained that these allegations were false.

He told The Times Of India, "It is unfortunate that the allegations by a non-medical person are being listened to instead of a 13-member medical team's assessment. Eman is in better health than she has ever been."

Eman's sister Saimma Selim had alleged that Eman had not recovered at all.

"Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala is a liar and is not giving right/factual updates about Eman's recovery. Eman has not recovered one bit," Saimma had said.

One of Eman's doctors had also resigned from her care because of the allegations.

In a Facebook post, Dr Aparna Govil Bhasker had said, "Unfortunately Eman's case is an example of the worst kind of assault that a patient's family can do to a doctor. It will be an example for patients to learn how to use the hospital system to your advantage by hook or by crook."

"What her sister has done is worse than physically assaulting a doctor. She has broken the bond of trust between doctors and patients. I am appalled at the irony that today when Eman's health is the best that it has ever been in last 25 years, her sister chooses to go down this path," she said.

Meanwhile, a team of doctors from Abu Dhabi's VPS Healthcare hospital have already visited her.
