A 17-year-old boy from Udaipur in Rajasthan has created history by scoring a perfect 360/360 in the JEE Main examinations that guarantee him a spot in any of the top engineering colleges in India. He is the first ever person to get the perfect score in this exam, as per reports.

Kalpit Veerwal is the son of a Dalit man, Pushpendra, who works as a nurse at a local government hospital. Veerwal's mother Pushpa teaches at a government school.

"I didn't want to take studies as a burden and I wanted to enjoy what I learned, Veerwal told The Times of India. "I knew I could come first but never thought that I could reach the magic figure of 360."

Veerwal followed a daily 17-hour study schedule, starting at 6 in the morning and continuing till night with a short break. Yet, it was not all work and no play for him--Veerwal also played cricket and badminton and listened to his favourite music.

He chose to stay at home and attend coaching classes instead of going to Kota or Hyderabad which are hubs for such coaching centres.
