THIRUVANANTHAPURAM -- An underwater CEO conference, in which heads of five corporate companies participated, was held at nearby Kovalam here on Tuesday.
An MoU to initiate steps to protect ocean ecosystem and fight against marine pollution was signed by the CEOs underwater in the event, titled 'Ocean Love', a release said here.
Udaya Samudra group and Bondsafari group jointly organised the innovative event, claimed to be a first of its kind in the world.
Raja Gopaal Iyer (UDS Group of Hotels), HemaMenon (UST Global), Dinesh P Thambi (TCS), Shyam Kumar (Neologix) and Rony Thomas (Avon Mobility Solutions Pvt.Ltd) were the participants.
Jackson Peter, MD, Bond Safari, gave all technical support for the facilitation of the event.
The participants vowed all support for the protection of marine ecosystem for the benefit of the humanity, the release added.
