India's top two comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover are in news. On Saturday, the cast of The Kapil Sharma Show was returning from Australia after a performance tour when an altercation between Sharma, who was apparently drunk, and his crew broke out mid-air.
Sharma, the host of the show and a mega celebrity in his own right, reportedly attacked Grover both physically and verbally.
According to a report in the Indian Express, Sharma also allegedly took a dig at a comedy show, Mad In India, that Grover had launched in 2014 after parting ways with him.
The report quotes an unspecified source as saying that when a female passenger asked Sharma to keep quiet, Grover also addressed him, saying, "Paaji tussi gaali mat do." This angered Sharma further and he began abusing Grover. Grover also lost his cool but was restrained by other members of the team. He then walked over to the plane's economy-class section but Sharma followed him and hit him.
Later, Sharma took to his official Facebook account and spoke about the reported altercation, saying:
"we travel together.. I meet my brother once in a year.. n spending almost everyday with my team.. specially sunil .. I love him.. I respect him.. yes I had a argue with him.but r we not normal people..?I shouted at him first time in 5 years .. itna to chalta hai bhai. we will sit n talk that where is the problem.. I love him as a artist as a human being.. he is like my elder brother.. why so much negativity all the time.. I respect our media.."

On Tuesday, Grover who plays Dr. Mashoor Gulati, Suryaprakash, Rinku Devi and some other characters on The Kapil Sharma Show took to his Twitter account and expressed his disappointment at Sharma's actions mid-air.
"Refrain from using foul language in front of women who have nothing to do with the stardom you carry, they are by chance just traveling with you," Grover tweeted out.
"All are not as successful as you are. All are not as talented as you are. But if they all are talented like you, who will value you. So, have some gratitude towards their existence. And also, if someone is correcting you, don't abuse that person."
