Days after Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani announced the new Reliance Jio Prime scheme, rival telcom operators and broadband Internet providers have come out with plans that offer data at par with Jio. Here is a look at Airtel, Vodafone, and Idea's latest plans —

Reliance Jio

Reliance Jio's Prime plans will mimic the benefits of its Happy New Year Plan. Users will get 1 GB free 4G data per day, along with free unlimited calls, SMS, and viewing content from Jio. The Prime membership will cost users a ₹99 one-time fee. After that, they have to pay ₹303 per month to enjoy the plan's benefits. There is a monthly ₹499 plan as well that will give users 2 GB data per day. Subscribers will get an additional 5 GB per month if they enroll before 31 March.

Airtel

India's biggest telecom operator has released a very competitive data consumption plan. It is offering a ₹345 monthly plan that provides 28 GB data free with a 1 GB per day cap. Users can opt for this plan before 31 March to enjoy the benefits for the next 11 months. The catch is that the users can use only 500 MB of data during daytime and 500 MB of data at nighttime.

Vodafone

Vodafone has two plans in the same price range as other incumbent operators. The two monthly plans offered are priced at ₹342 and ₹346. The first plan will offer 28 GB data per month with a 1 GB daily cap. The second plan will offer 10 GB of data per month with 300 minutes of free voice calling. Users have to sign up before 15 March to enjoy the benefits.

Idea Cellular

The operator's plan is priced at ₹348 per month but the data cap is much smaller than what others are offering. Users will be able to use 500 MB per day with this scheme. Additionally, users will be able make unlimited calls to other networks.
