NEW DELHI -- A man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing his elder brother to death for refusing to give him ₹20 for buying liquor in northwest Delhi's Swaroop Nagar area, police said on Monday.

The accused has been arrested, police said.

On Sunday night, a PCR call was received from a hospital about a man being brought there with knife injuries, they added.

The man had succumbed to injuries.

The deceased was identified as Bunty and after investigation, it was found that he had been stabbed by his younger brother Pankaj, police said.

It was found that Panakj was an alcoholic and he was often rebuked by Bunty.

Yesterday, when Pankaj asked Bunty for ₹20, the latter refused. Pankaj lost temper and allegedly stabbed his brother with a kitchen knife at their home in Khadda Colony.
