Partha De, the man who shocked the nation when chilling reports of him living with the dead bodies of his sister and two dogs in a house in Kolkata hit the headlines in 2015, has died under 'unnatural circumstances'.

According to a report in the Hindu, the cops found his body in a 'burning condition' inside the bathroom of a Wattegunge apartment. Coincidentally, this is also exactly how his father had died.

The cops found matchsticks and petrol inside the bathroom and suspect that he committed suicide.

The 46-year-old software engineer lived for six months with the corpses of his sister and two dogs in an house on Robinson Street which came to be popularly known as Calcutta's 'House of Horror'.

Partha's diaries which were found during investigation provided strong indications of an incestuous relationship between him and his sister Debjani.

He was arrested and put into a mental institution from where he was later released.
